Ritz Carlton Rose Hall
Our wedding and other weekend events will be based out of the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall. The resort itself has many facilities to take advantage of during down time, including a swimming pool, beach, spa and several dining and entertainment options. This hotel option will afford guests close proximity to wedding-related events and, hopefully, the opportunity to bump into other wedding guests at the pool or at breakfast!
We have not reserved a block of rooms, since we have seen better prices made available through travel packages (see additional information below) but reservations can be made directly through the Ritz website. Also, the Ritz Carlton is a Marriott-family hotel, so if you are like us and always looking to capitalize on frequent traveler programs, this might be an opportunity to either earn or use rewards points.

Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa
This is an all-inclusive only resort, meaning food and beverages are included with the room price. Rates are generally less than the Ritz. For more details please see the following website.
Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort
This is also an all-inclusive only resort. Rates are generally less expensive than the Ritz and Hilton, although availability may be more limited. The website for the SunSpree is provided below.

In addition to those listed above, there are other hotel options in the Rose Hall area, such as a Sandals property and the Half Moon Bay Resort. Montego Bay Ground Transportation
The Rose Hall area of Montego Bay is approximately six miles, a 20 minutes drive, from Sangster International Airport. Transportation between the airport and lodging can typically be arranged with the hotel in advance of your arrival, an option we recommend.
When your flight lands at the MBJ airport, you must first pass through immigration and clear customs. You will then arrive into a large Ground Transportation Arrivals Hall where most hotels, including the Ritz and Holiday Inn SunSpree, have arrival lounges where guests can check-in to the hotel and connect with ground transportation providers. The hotels listed above provide shuttle/transfer arrangements and pre-arranged rides help make your arrival and departure less stressful. If you do opt for transportation through your hotel, please proceed to the hotel's lounge upon arrival.
There are independent transportation providers, shuttles, and taxi cabs that can bring you to your hotel when you land at Sangster, and you can connect with these other options in the arrivals hall of Sangster Airport as well.
Please note that while the alternate hotel accommodation options highlighted above are in the Rose Hall area, they are not within walking distance from the Ritz, so transportation will be needed to travel between locations. There are taxi cabs available and some hotels may offer shuttle service if requested, but we wanted to alert guests so that transportation arrangements can be made accordingly.
Travel Packages
In general we have found that the best priced options have been made available through travel packages that include both air and hotel accommodations. There are a variety of websites and companies that provide these options, including general travel sites like Orbitz and Expedia as well as individual airline websites (United Vacations, Air Jamaica Vacations, and American Airline Vacations).
We wanted to highlight some of the key sites below, as we highly recommend looking into these package options. It is possible that packages and deals will change (and improve!) over time, so please check back often!

Considering All-Inclusive Options
Many hotels in Jamaica, including the Ritz, have all-inclusive package options. When considering whether these packages are right for your visit, please keep in mind that several wedding related events will be providing meals and beverages as part of the celebration. We hope that you will be able to join us for the Friday evening pool party, our morning-after brunch on Sunday, and of course the Big Day on Saturday. Given these planned events, it may be less advantageous to participate in an all-inclusive package during your stay.
